Installing and activating the eSIM card
Install the eSIM card on the day of departure, then start using it upon arrival. (Some eSIM cards become active immediately after purchase.)
Simply scan the QR code with your phone, or press and hold the QR code until your phone offers to install the eSIM.
If you cannot scan the QR code, choose manual installation and enter the installation details provided in the email.

    Go to Settings > Mobile Data.

    Tap Add eSIM.
  3. 3
    Using a QR code: Scan the received QR code with the camera, or press and hold the QR code received by email until the phone offers to install the eSIM.

    Manually: Tap “Enter Details Manually” at the bottom of the screen, then copy the SM-DP+ address and the activation code.

    Follow the on-screen instructions to activate the eSIM.

    Set up mobile data:
    Select the newly added eSIM as the device’s default mobile data line.
    IMPORTANT: Turn off the “Allow Mobile Data Switching” option so your phone does not use your home SIM card abroad.

    Tap the new eSIM profile and make sure Data Roaming is turned on.

    Go to Settings > Network & Internet > SIM cards.
    On Samsung devices: Connections > SIM Manager.

    Tap Add SIM card or Download eSIM.
  3. 3
    Using a QR code: Scan the received QR code.

    Manually: Tap “Need help?” or “Enter code manually”, then paste the details extracted from the LPA code.

    Allow the profile to be downloaded and activated by following the steps shown on the screen.

    Set up mobile data:
    In SIM Manager, set the new eSIM as the default mobile data card.

    Tap the newly added eSIM in the list and turn on the Data Roaming option.

Warnings

Please read the following carefully.

  1. 1
    Never delete the eSIM profile!
    Once you have added the eSIM to your phone, do not delete it from the settings.

    Deleting the eSIM profile results in its permanent and irreversible loss.

    If you experience an error or problem, please do not delete the card. Contact customer support instead.

    Install the eSIM on the day of departure!
    Some eSIMs may also provide coverage outside the main destination country, for example in transit countries or even in Hungary.

    Since the eSIM validity period starts immediately when it first connects to a network, we recommend installing the eSIM only on the day of travel to avoid early activation of the package.
